2025 Advent Series
If you’re feeling the weight of this year, you’re not alone.
Give yourself the gift of prayer and community this season and join us for our Advent series, "Through the Wilderness: Healing for a Weary World." Over the course of four 1-hour sessions, we will create a space to name what we carry, identify what we long for, and reimagine something different for our lives and our world.
The series we’ll explore four prophetic visions from the Sunday readings. In them, Isaiah imagines a world where power is reordered, where the poor and vulnerable are our leaders, and where justice makes peace possible. In many ways, Isaiah’s world wasn’t so different from ours today. This Advent we will explore four of his poetic visions and discern how they call us to seek justice, peace, and healing in our own contexts.
Each of the groups is being facilitated by members of the CA Catholic Relief Services Coalition.
